05/06/2022 - In autumn last year, Dinges Logistics took over another site in Grünstadt, Rhineland-Palatinate, which is now officially used as the second operating facility in Grünstadt and represents the company's third site in total. By increasing the available office, logistics, and workshop space, an increase in capacity is possible in the medium term, which will be beneficial for future company growth.

The second site is located at Benzstrasse 15, approximately 300 meters as the crow flies from the site in Max-Planck-Strasse, and offers an additional 800 sqm of office space, an additional 3,300 sqm of workshop space and an additional 15,000 sqm of logistics space. Furthermore, at the new location the company has its own fuel station, a washing area, as well as a separate, covered checkpoint where the departure checks and safety-relevant inspections are carried out by means of a checklist before the start of transport.

There are major advantages for the company in taking over the site. The additional logistics area offers more storage locations for tractor units, chemical tanks, tank container chassis and empty tank containers. The enlarged office and workshop space will allow internal departmental processes to be optimized and space to be created for additional employees as part of the growth process. Based on this, an increase in capacity is possible, with which Dinges Logistics will continue to push active growth in the future, not least by optimizing efficiency and thus profitability.

Following the takeover of the site in October last year, extensive conversion and renovation work was started on the entire object, which is still ongoing today. Part of the company's own workshop already moved to the new facility at the beginning of this year. This was followed recently by the relocation of the first business departments to the new office space. In the course of the upcoming weeks and months, further departments will successively move to the new location, so that the majority of the administrative staff will be located at Benzstrasse in Grünstadt. For the future, it is planned that the two operational sites in Grünstadt, Rhineland-Palatinate, will be operated in parallel, with tank cleaning, the hazardous goods storage, some of the business staff and the empty container depot continuing to be located in Max-Planck-Strasse.
