Container Terminal

Since Q1 2020, we provide a container terminal with storage locations for a total of up to 800 tank containers, both empty and loaded, at our site in Grünstadt, Germany. These storage locations include an empty container depot with stackers for empty containers and, on request, shuttle services, a hazardous goods storage and heating stations for chemical goods. The use of a special terminal operating system ensures efficient operations in our container terminal.

In our hazardous goods storage, 108 storage locations are available for loaded tank containers with ADR classes 3, 6, 8 and 9. The highest safety standards are ensured by storing the tank containers loaded with hazardous goods in special hazardous goods tubs. Two reach stackers are used for handling the loaded tank containers, enabling us to make optimum use of the available space.

With 40 modern heating stations, where hot water, steam, electricity as well as cooling options are available all year round, we offer the entire portfolio for heating or cooling chemical goods. In addition, our skilled personnel carries out regular checks.
